Judgement Day
For years the people tolled along,
Merely breathing a sigh when things went wrong,
For the past was lost, what lay ahead?
Countless generations now buried and dead.
Their faith had crumbled, belief had rotten,
The last of the Priests extinct and forgotten.
This was the future for all to see,
And few of them knew what was to be,
For over the years their faith had faded,
The Holy books all sold and traded,
And not one of them had piece of mind,
For ignorance is far from kind.
And then one day `twas plain to see,
Before them all in clarity,
And all to which they had been blind,
Was there before their very eyes.
Few had waited for this day,
From dawn `til dusk these men would pray,
And of these few, fewer still,
Had completely abandoned all evil.
Yet the remaining few were given the choice,
To listen to the One Devine Voice,
But after such a time their minds wouldn`t sway,
And a terrible price they`d have to pay,
For this was the dawn of Judgement Day!
